Insurgents from around the world - An educational meeting for children from the 5 year of life.
Several dozen foreigners joined the struggle of the Varsovians with the German invader, including Hungarians, Slovaks, Georgians, Frenchmen, Belgians, Dutch, Greeks, British, Italians, Armenians, Russians, as well as single representatives of other nations: Azer, Czech, Ukrainian, Romanian, Australian and Nigerian. Some of them, originating from Nigeria August Agbola O`Brown, lived in Warsaw before the war. Another example is the Slovaks who worked in the gas plant in Czerniakow. In the insurgent ranks there were also German deserters and foreigners who escaped forced labor or POW camps.
At the meeting of families with children, I will be able to get to know the silhouettes of these foreigners through various games and activities. There will be a position with a memo memorable game, we will learn hard Hungarian words, we will get acquainted with Italian cuisine, we will build an anti-aircraft stand, we will complete an insurgent first aid kit, we will learn to recognize allied planes.
